This section covers what a complete practice routine may look like. For a complete routine we want to cover everything needed for improvement, while aiming for effective practice and avoiding burnout and boredom. While providing complete routines for simplicity, it is important to remember that these are guidelines. You can tweak them in any way you want.

1-3h

If all time available is an hour or two, we should focus most of our time playing the game, with an improvement mindset. Our warmup also acts as a mechanics practice session. To improve in the knowledge department, we VOD review once pr. week to always know what we need to improve upon, which we take with us to util+mechanics practice and in our notes for review before practice matches.

Once a week/ once every 5 times you run the routine:

3h+

If you have 3 hours or more to dedicate, there are ways to improve faster at certain areas critical to the game, while also dedicating enough time playing the game itself. Playing anything more than 2-3 matches(90-120min) in a sitting is ineffective use of time as our focus drops, and basic needs has to be met. For these longer routines, we add a focus on recovery and breaks to improve focus in our sessions.
